The Public Foundation of Enterprising Centre was established in 1991 by its owner, Municipality of Székesfehérvár.

The Public Foundation aims to operate a local business incubator in order to support the micro and small enterprises in the Central Transdanubia region. The Foundation provides incubation services, premises to let, business information, professional consultancies, publications, trainings and competence development. Besides them, the Public Foundation contributes to assist and support Székesfehérvár to discontinue the unemployment problems and difficulties in providing trainings and competence development.

The incubator became an innovation centre according to the strategic plan in 1999. The Public Foundation`s initiations (e.g. projects, building expansion and service development) are based to meet the need of innovation. Our basic consultancy service (legal, financial and business developing) was reborn in 2003 and was operated by the Regional Innovation Agency since 2005. The Foundation (as one of the owners of the Central-Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency Non-profit Company) has been providing this activity since January 2008 which, moreover, has been expanded with labour-market, labour law and proposal consultancies.

The Public Foundation takes part in providing regional and local innovation tasks and due to this we have become a member of the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Council and a governing organization of the Innovation Council of Székesfehérvár. Moreover, the Foundation also has governing and organisational roles in Hungarian Business Incubator Association (which is the national organization of incubators, innovation centres and business development institutions).
